Notice of the Election To the Wherry School Trust board to the vacancT position of Parent Trustee
The election for a parent trustee to fill the vacancy on The Wherry School Trust board has now taken place and the candidate with the most votes is Manan Singh.
The regulations for the election state that there is a period of 14 days ( we have interpreted this as 10 school days excluding the school holidays) where any ten parents or any candidates may object to the result. The grounds for any objection would need to be stated. At the end of this period, or when any objections have been made and resolved, the result will be deemed to be final. The provisional date for the finalisation of the appointment is Monday 20th April 2026.
Objections should be sent in writing detailing the basis of the objection and the names of the objectors to office@thewherryschool.co.uk
The school would like to thank all of the candidates for putting themselves forward to be elected and everyone who voted.
