Strategic Priorities

To develop all governors with regard to training and understanding the role in a specialist school setting.

To support the Wherry Leadership team to in recruiting the Education, Health and Social Staff to complete the full staffing structure by September 2020.

To support and challenge the Principal and Vice Principal in continuing the development of the wherry School Site to meet the needs of 100 autistic learners.

To develop the Trust further to possibly incorporate a wider group of representatives on The Trust Board to include Health and Business.

To work with Norfolk County Council and other nearby local Authorities to look at developing additional Free Schools for Autistic Learners in the Eastern Counties

To developing partnerships in Norfolk and beyond to support learners with an autistic spectrum disorder.

To continue to be appraised about the development of NIMAT (and other potential suitable MATs) and as appropriate make an informed decision about the future long term Governance arrangements for the Wherry School.
Full Governor Meetings
Meetings of the Full Governing Body (FGB) will take place in the Wherry School Family Meeting Room and will start at 5.30pm and aim to finish at 7.30pm.
